Prom Fashion Show
By Paige Brenner

A crowd gathered inside the Mt. Juliet High School Theater on Thursday, Feb.18 to watch a performance filled with beautiful dresses, snazzy tuxedoes, dancing, and door-prizes.
The show was put on to raise money for prom and to model the latest dress and tuxedo styles that are available this year. Ambassadors by Gilda, The White Room and Tangles Hair Salon contributed with the choreography, dresses and tuxedoes, and hair-dos that appeared in the show. The production raised $962 which will be put towards prom this year.
The show kicked off with a display of the cast as they strutted their stuff around the stage. Kaitlin Thomas, Ashley Fisher and Chelsea Hardy then took their places on stage to narrate.
“I really enjoyed doing the prom fashion this year,” said junior Shaee Flatt, a performer in the show, “it’s definitely something that I will do again.” The presentation was full of crazy dance numbers and prize drawings throughout. Hi-Lites Salon, Moss’s, O’Charley’s, TropiTANa Tanning Salon and Ramona & Co. were among the many businesses that supplied the prizes given out.
The prom fashion show came to an end with a grand finale dance show in which the cast struck a final pose and took a bow. Prom will be held on May 1, and those who attended the fashion show have a jump start on their planning.
